Regulations 1. Date 21 – 25 January 2026 2. Venue Ø Jalan Duta Squash Centre, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur 3. Events Ø Boys under 11, 13, 15, 17 & 19 Ø Girls under 11, 13, 15, 17 & 19 4. Entry Procedure i) All entries must be registered through affiliated state associations (SRAM Affiliates). Players are requiredto register themselves into the tournament via the RankedIn tournament system. State association administrator is responsible to monitor and submit the entry form and make payment to PERSATUAN SKUASY MALAYSIA (SRAM) as the organiser. ii) Only players with Malaysian citizenship, with valid identification card are allowed to participate. iii) All local players must register for MYSPIN to be eligible to participate in this competition. iv) Entry fees for this competition as below: RM 100.00 per person (local); must be paid to: PERSATUAN SQUASH MALAYSIA A/C No: 8600134016 (CIMB Bank) All payment must be settled by or before the closing date (3 January 2026) v) State association administrator must e-mail the proof of payment (receipt) and list of registered players rubansankaran.sram@gmail.com TOURNAMENT FORMAT 1. The tournament is based on knockout circuit format with 2-matches guaranteed. · There shall be a playoff for the top 16 positions. 2. 11 points - PAR (Point A Rally) 3. Best of five games format for: a. all winning players in main draw b. top 16 placing 4. All other placing matches shall be a best of three games format. AGE CUT OFF DATE 25 January 2026 CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES For any withdrawals, state must notify SRAM by 3 January 2026 ACCOMMODATION Accommodation will not be provided for players. MPalace Hotel Kuala Lumpur TRANSPORTATION Transportation will not be provided. Organizing Committee Tournament Coordinator : Andrew Muthu Tournament Director : Ruban Sankaran (SRAM) Tournament Referee : RULES AND REGULATION i. It is compulsory for all participants to mark or referee matches when called to do so. Failure to do so may result in the player being suspended from competitions. All State Coaches and Managers are to help SRAM to enforce this. ii. Participants must mark/referee matches when required. iii. Participants must wear shoes and the official sponsor’s T-Shirt during the prize giving ceremony. Players who are not properly attired will not receive their medals and prizes. iv. The WSF, ASF and SRAM championship regulations apply. v. Participants and officials must arrive 15 minutes before the tournament starts for the briefing session. vi. Participants must ensure that they are on time for their matches. vii. SRAM wants all participants, officials, and spectators to ensure the cleanliness of the venue. All viii. rubbish must be thrown at the designated area (rubbish bin). ix. Players are not allowed to practice (hitting the ball on the wall) other than in the courts. x. Players are required to wear full sports attire according to WSF & PSA regulations, three quarter pants not allowed, and only use non-marking shoes in court. xi. Playing clothing for men shall consist of a sleeveless shirt, short-sleeved shirt with attached collar or non-cotton t-shirt, shorts, socks and playing shoes. Compression shorts above the knee are allowed to be worn under playing shorts. Compression socks up to below the knee are also permitted. Playing clothing for women shall consist of a polo shirt with attached collar or non-cotton t-shirt, or a sleeveless non cotton vest top, worn with a skirt, shorts or dress, socks and playing shoes. Compression shorts above the knee are allowed to be worn under playing skirts, shorts or dresses. Compression socks up to below the knee are also permitted. Other garments, such as part or all of a tracksuit, may be worn during play for cultural/religious reasons with the prior permission of the Championship Referee. Unacceptable attire shall include sweatshirts, long sleeved tops or long-sleeved compression tops, leggings or full-length compression stockings and aerobic bodysuits of any description. WSF Clothing Rule 2025, Section 1(L). TOURNAMENT T-SHIRT All participants will receive one (1) Tournament T-shirt OFFICIAL BALL Squash Ball – DUNLOP DOUBLE YELLOW DOT Withdrawals i. The withdrawal deadline is 48 hours after the entries close. A player who appears on the entry list at any time after the withdrawal deadline is deemed to have been accepted and is committed to play the tournament. ii. Any withdrawal from a player that occurs after the withdrawal deadline will be iii. considered a late withdrawal. iv. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against late withdrawals unless the reason for the late withdrawal (e.g., medical issues, family emergency etc.) is approved by SRAM and the organizing party. v. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against players in the main draw who fail to appear for the tournament without prior notification. Appeals if any must be submitted in writing to SRAM. Participation 1. State associations will be required to prepare for your own players & coaches’ accommodation and transportation. 2. Medals are given to the top 8 winners of each category. 3. E-certificates will be given for all participants and Top 8 winners of each category.
