How to bulk-import assessment criteria

Instead of adding criteria one by one, import them from a spreadsheet. Great when your coaching methodology has a fixed set of ~30+ criteria per template.

Steps

1. Sidebar → Assessments → Templates → open a template
2. Under Criteria → click Bulk Import
3. Click Download Sample to get an Excel template with the correct columns
4. Fill in the sample: - criterion_name — e.g. Ball Control - description — coaching notes (optional) - weight — how much this counts toward total (0.5 = half weight, 2.0 = double). Default 1. - max_score — top of the scale (e.g. 5 for 1–5, 10 for 1–10, 100 for percentage) - display_order — sort order (1 = first)
5. Save the Excel file
6. Back in AAU Club Manager → Choose File → upload
7. AAU Club Manager parses + shows a preview: how many rows imported, any errors
8. Confirm Import — criteria added to the template

Common errors

• "Invalid weight" — must be a positive number (e.g. 1, 1.5, 2.0)
• "Duplicate criterion name" — same name already exists in the template. Edit and re-upload.
• "Missing required column" — the header row was modified. Re-download and start over.

Reuse

• Duplicate template — copies all criteria; edit the copy instead of re-importing
• Import from another template — instead of Excel, click Import from Template and pick another template as the source

After import

• Order the criteria (drag rows to reorder, or use display_order column)
• Adjust weights individually — click a criterion → Edit
• Assign categories to the template (see Create an assessment template)

1. Menu sisi → Assessments → Templates → buka template
2. Criteria → Bulk Import
3. Download Sample untuk Excel template
4. Isi kolum: - criterion_name - description - weight (default 1) - max_score - display_order
5. Save → Choose File → upload
6. Preview → Confirm Import

Error biasa

• Invalid weight — nombor positif
• Duplicate criterion name — nama sudah wujud
• Missing required column — header diubah

Reuse

• Duplicate template — copy semua kriteria
• Import from Template — copy dari template lain
