How to configure certificate settings

Set up club-wide defaults for signatures, expiry policies, and mandatory certs.

Access

Sidebar → Certificates → Settings (/certificates/settings/)

Signature images

Upload admin / coach signature images (PNG with transparent background):

• Primary admin signature — used on most templates
• Coach signature — used on coaching-completion certificates
• Sponsor signatures — for tournaments with sponsor recognition

Recommended: 300×100 px, transparent background, dark ink color.

Default template per event type

For every type of certificate AAU Club Manager auto-generates: - Attendance milestones — pick the default template used when generating from attendance % - Recognition — for manual awards - Tournament awards — for medal certificates - Coaching completion — for coach qualification tracking

Certificate retention

• Days to keep PDFs — how long AAU Club Manager stores generated PDFs (default: 730 = 2 years). After this, PDFs are deleted from Cloudinary but the DB record + verification code stay valid.
• Regenerate on demand — if a certificate PDF was deleted for storage reasons, admin can regenerate it any time from the DB record.

Expiry defaults

For external certificate uploads: - Default expiry warning — how many days before expiry to notify (default 30) - Auto-block coaches with expired mandatory certs — toggle on/off

Verification page branding

Public verification page can show your club's branding: - Toggle Show club logo on verification page on - Toggle Show issuing coach's name on

Notifications

• Notify on issue — email + WhatsApp when certificate issued
• Notify on revoke — email recipient when revoked
• Notify on expiry — email 30 days before external cert expiry

Each toggleable independently.
