How to create a certificate template

Certificate templates are the design AAU Club Manager uses when generating certificates — attendance milestones, tournament awards, coaching completions.

Steps

1. Sidebar → Certificates → Templates (/certificates/templates/)
2. Click Create Template
3. Choose: - Name — e.g. Perfect Attendance 2026 - Background image — upload PNG/JPG (A4 landscape recommended, 300 DPI) - Type — Attendance / Recognition / Custom
4. Save — you land on the template editor.
5. Tag editor — drag tags onto the certificate to place dynamic content: - {{ trainee_name }} — trainee's full name - {{ category }} — their category (U10 etc.) - {{ date }} — issue date - {{ signature }} — club admin signature image - {{ tournament_name }} — for tournament awards - {{ award }} — award title
6. Style each tag: font, size, color, alignment
7. Save tags → Preview to see a rendered example
8. Publish — makes it available for generation

Tips

• Use a template made for print (300 DPI) — AAU Club Manager downscales gracefully to screen.
• Test with a real trainee via Preview before bulk generation.
• Duplicate an existing template to make a variation.

Cara buat template sijil

1. Menu sisi → Certificates → Templates → Create Template
2. Name, upload background, type
3. Tag editor — drag tags: {{ trainee_name }}, {{ category }}, {{ date }}, {{ signature }}, {{ tournament_name }}, {{ award }}
4. Style tag (font, size, warna)
5. Save tags → Preview → Publish

Tips: guna gambar 300 DPI untuk print quality.
