How to create a tournament

Tournaments track competitive events — internal cups, invitationals, or clubs travelling to external competitions.

Steps

  1. Sidebar → Tournaments (/tournaments/) → click Create Tournament
  2. Fill in: - Name — e.g. KL Cup U12 2026 - Sport / discipline — free text or from a list - Start / end date - Venue — where it's played - Type — Internal (your club only) or External (multi-club invitational) - Registration fee — optional; auto-generates a tournament invoice per registered participant - Age category — U8 / U10 / U12 / Open / etc. - Max participants — cap, or leave blank for unlimited - Registration closes on — deadline for parents to sign their child up
  3. Save. Tournament status = Draft. Click Publish to open registrations.

Duplicate an existing tournament

Fastest way to set up a repeat event — open the source tournament → Duplicate → AAU Club Manager copies name/dates/fee/format; edit and save.

Status flow

Draft → Registration Open → In Progress → Completed

You can transition manually from the tournament detail page → Update Status.

Cara buat kejohanan

  1. Menu sisi → Tournaments → Create Tournament
  2. Isikan Name, Sport, Start/End date, Venue, Type, Registration fee, Age category, Max participants, Registration closes on
  3. Save, kemudian Publish untuk buka pendaftaran

Duplicate

Buka kejohanan lama → Duplicate — jimat masa.

Status

Draft → Registration Open → In Progress → Completed
