How to extend an assessment cycle deadline

Cycles automatically close on the End Date and scoring is locked. Extend the deadline if coaches need more time.

Steps

1. Sidebar → Assessments → Cycles → open the cycle
2. Click Extend Deadline (top right)
3. Pick new End Date (must be in the future)
4. Optional: send extension notice to coaches (checkbox)
5. Save

Coaches immediately regain the ability to score.

When to extend

• Coaches were unavailable (illness, holidays)
• Trainees missed key sessions and their scores would be incomplete
• Wanted to align with a delayed report distribution

Multiple extensions

You can extend the same cycle multiple times. Each is audit-logged: - Cycle detail → History tab → shows every deadline change with who + when + reason.

Alternative: reopen after close

If the cycle already closed (past End Date): 1. Cycle detail → Reopen (admin only) 2. Enter reason 3. Set new End Date 4. Cycle status flips from Closed back to Active

Reopening resends the cycle to coaches who had submitted, allowing them to edit their submissions.

Auto-close config

Default: cycle auto-transitions to Closed at midnight on the End Date. To change per-club: - Club Settings → Assessments → Auto-close time — set hour (e.g. 18:00 = 6pm on end date)

Cara lanjutkan deadline cycle penilaian

Langkah

1. Menu sisi → Assessments → Cycles → buka cycle
2. Extend Deadline
3. Pilih End Date baru
4. Optional: hantar notice kepada jurulatih
5. Save

Bila lanjutkan

• Jurulatih tak available (sakit, cuti)
• Pelatih tercicir latihan
• Selaraskan dengan tarikh laporan

Lanjut berulang kali

Boleh. Setiap lanjutan dilog dalam History tab.

Reopen selepas tutup

Cycle sudah Closed? Reopen (admin) → sebab → End Date baru. Coaches boleh edit semula.

Auto-close

Default: midnight End Date. Ubah di Club Settings → Assessments → Auto-close time.
