How to view the geo check-in audit log

Every geo check-in attempt (successful or rejected) is logged with GPS coordinates. Useful for: - Auditing suspicious check-ins (parents checking in from home) - Debugging why geo verification failed - Insurance / safety verification (proving someone was at the venue)
Access
- Sidebar → Attendance → Geo Audit (
/attendance/geo-audit/)
What's logged
Every attempt records:
- User (trainee / coach / staff / member)
- Session
- Timestamp
- GPS coordinates (lat, lng)
- Distance from venue (meters)
- Result: Verified / Too far / No GPS / Suspicious
- Device info (mobile browser fingerprint)
Filter
- Date range
- User (search by name or role)
- Result (only failures, only successful, etc.)
- Session or category
Common patterns
Repeated "Too far" for the same user: - They're trying to check in from home / school - Or venue GPS coordinates are wrong — verify branch coordinates - Or geo-radius is too small — widen it in Branch settings
"No GPS" for many users: - Users disabled location on their device / browser - Old iOS versions have known issues — direct them to update
"Suspicious" flag: - Same GPS location, multiple users, within seconds — indicates one person checked in for others - Contact the users to verify
Export
- Export CSV — for offline analysis
- Retention: 90 days by default (configurable in Club Settings)
Correct a false rejection
- Open the log entry → Force Approve → AAU Club Manager records the manual approval + your reason

Isi
- Pengguna, sesi, tarikh
- GPS koordinat + jarak dari venue
- Result: Verified / Too far / No GPS / Suspicious
- Device info
Filter
Date range, pengguna, result, sesi/kategori.
Pattern biasa
- Too far berulang: cuba check-in dari rumah, atau venue GPS salah, atau radius terlalu kecil
- No GPS: user disable lokasi, iOS lama
- Suspicious: sama GPS + ramai user dalam saat = satu orang check-in untuk ramai
Export
Export CSV. Retention 90 hari.
Force approve
Buka log → Force Approve — AAU Club Manager rekod sebab + kehadiran jadi Present.
