How to manage discounts (sibling / promo / scholarship)

Discounts let you reduce fees for specific trainees or families — sibling discount, early-bird, scholarship, staff kid, etc.

Create a discount

1. Sidebar → Billing → Discounts (/billing/discounts/)
2. Click Create Discount
3. Fill in: - Name — e.g. Sibling 15%, Early Bird Registration, Scholarship — Fatimah - Code — optional promo code parents can enter (leave blank for admin-only) - Discount type — Percentage (15%) or Fixed Amount (RM 50) - Applies to — Monthly / Registration / Any fee type - Scope — Per-trainee (specific person) or Per-family (whole family) or Club-wide (everyone) - Auto-apply conditions — e.g. "2 or more siblings enrolled" → AAU Club Manager auto-applies sibling discount - Start / end date — validity window (optional) - Max uses — cap total redemptions (for promo codes)
4. Save

Assign to specific trainees / families

• Discount detail → Trainees tab → Assign — pick who gets it
• Or Families tab if it's family-scoped

Auto-sibling detection

If you enable Auto-apply for families with 2+ children, AAU Club Manager automatically applies the discount when generating invoices — no manual assignment needed.

Edit / delete

• Discounts → open → Edit to change amount or extend validity
• Delete — removes from future invoices; existing invoices keep the discount as recorded

Parent view

• If the discount has a promo code, parents can enter it during payment
• Auto-applied discounts show as a line item on the invoice PDF: e.g. Sibling 15% — RM -9.00

Cara urus diskaun (adik-beradik / promo / biasiswa)

Cipta

1. Menu sisi → Billing → Discounts → Create Discount
2. Isi: nama, kod (optional), jenis (%/RM), applies to, scope, auto-apply, tarikh, max uses
3. Save

Assign

• Buka diskaun → Trainees / Families tab → Assign

Auto-sibling

Enable Auto-apply for families with 2+ children — AAU Club Manager auto-apply.

Parent

Kod promo — masuk semasa bayar. Auto-apply — muncul sebagai line item pada invois PDF.
