How to manage shop inventory

Enable stock tracking

Per-product setting: 1. Product detail → Inventory section 2. Toggle Track stock on 3. Set starting quantity per variant (e.g. Size M: 20 units, Size L: 15 units)

Products with tracking off are treated as infinite stock (good for print-on-demand items or digital-only).

View stock levels

• Sidebar → Shop → Manage → Inventory
• See every tracked product with:
• Current stock (per variant)
• Committed (reserved by unfulfilled orders)
• Available (current − committed)
• Reorder point (low-stock threshold)
• Filter by category, status (in stock / low / out of stock)

Restock

1. Inventory → open a product → Add Stock
2. Enter quantity received + optional supplier reference
3. Save — stock increases; audit log records the entry

Adjust stock (correction)

For counting corrections, damage write-offs, or reallocations: 1. Product → Adjust Stock 2. Enter new absolute quantity + reason (e.g. Damaged 3 units, Physical count correction) 3. Save — audit log records the adjustment with delta

Low-stock alerts

• Per-product Reorder point — email admin when available drops to this
• Alerts fire once per drop (not repeatedly), reset when stock refilled

Bulk config: - Inventory → Bulk Set Reorder Points → apply same threshold across many products

Automatic deduction

When a customer order: - Goes to Paid → stock committed (reserved but not deducted) - Goes to Shipped or Delivered → stock deducted - Cancelled or Refunded before shipping → committed released back to available

Out of stock behavior

• Prevent oversell (default) — items disappear from storefront when out of stock
• Show but disable — item visible with "Out of Stock" badge; customer can't add to cart
• Allow backorders — customer can order; you fulfill when restocked

Set per-product or globally in Shop → Settings → Inventory.

Inventory reports

• Inventory → Reports:
• Stock valuation — current stock × cost = total inventory value
• Movement history — every restock, sale, adjustment
• Slow movers — items with low sales velocity (candidates for clearance)
• Fast movers — bestsellers (candidates for reorder)

Export / import

• Export CSV — full inventory snapshot for offline analysis
• Import CSV — bulk update stock levels (useful after physical stocktake)

Cara urus inventori shop

Enable

Produk → Inventory → toggle Track stock. Isi stok per variant.

View

Menu sisi → Shop → Manage → Inventory — semasa, committed, available, reorder point.

Restock

Produk → Add Stock — qty + rujukan pembekal.

Adjust

Adjust Stock — nilai absolute baru + sebab (rosak, kiraan salah).

Low-stock alert

Reorder point per produk → email admin bila available turun. Bulk: Bulk Set Reorder Points.

Auto deduct

• Paid → committed
• Shipped/Delivered → deducted
• Cancelled/Refunded → released

Out of stock

• Prevent oversell (default)
• Show but disable
• Allow backorders

Per produk atau global.

Report

Stock valuation, movement history, slow movers, fast movers.

Export / Import

CSV snapshot / bulk update.
