How to delete or reopen a submitted assessment

Occasionally a submitted assessment needs correcting or removing — a coach scored the wrong trainee, or scores were entered as part of a test that needs erasing.
Reopen for editing
If a coach's submission needs correcting (they entered wrong scores):
- Sidebar → Assessments → Cycles → open cycle → Submissions tab
- Find the specific trainee's submission → Reopen
- Enter reason (audit)
- Coach receives notification that scores are editable again
- Coach re-submits → new version overwrites
Reopening only works if the cycle itself is still Active or was Reopened (see Extend assessment cycle).
Admin edit directly
If you want to bypass the coach: 1. Same location → open the submission → Admin Edit 2. Change scores + save 3. Original coach's scores logged in history
Use sparingly — coaches lose trust if their submissions are silently changed.
Delete an assessment
If a score was created in error and must be erased entirely:
- Submission row → Delete
- Reason required
- Confirm
Deleted assessments: - Removed from parent view - Removed from trend chart - Coach's score log shows the deletion - Retained in audit log for 90 days (compliance)
Delete a whole cycle
Nuclear option — only for test cycles or cycles created by mistake:
- Cycle detail → Delete Cycle
- Confirm (multiple confirmations)
- All submissions in the cycle are deleted; template + criteria remain
Warning: irreversible. Prefer closing the cycle over deleting.
Cara padam / buka semula penilaian
Reopen untuk edit
- Cycles → open → Submissions tab
- Cari pelatih → Reopen → sebab
- Coach dapat notifikasi → edit → submit semula
Hanya boleh jika cycle masih Active.
Admin edit terus
Submission → Admin Edit — ubah skor → save. Skor asal coach dilog.
Padam satu penilaian
Submission → Delete + sebab → confirm.
Kesan: hilang dari parent view, trend, log skor coach. Audit kekal 90 hari.
Padam cycle
Cycle → Delete Cycle — semua submissions padam; template kekal.
Amaran: irreversible. Elakkan.
