How to use live scoring

Live scoring lets an official update the match score in real time — parents watching from home see it change instantly on the public tournament page.

Access

• Tournament detail → Matches → open a match → Live Scoring

Live scoring interface

Big-button interface designed for use during matches: - Score buttons — +1 goal / +1 point per team; tap to increment - Undo — mistap correction - Goal scorer — drop-down of team players; who scored? - Timer — auto-runs match clock (start / pause / adjust) - Cards — yellow / red for football - Sets / periods — for volleyball, tennis, badminton - Substitutions — track who came on/off

During the match

1. Start Match — status flips to In Progress; timer starts
2. Score events as they happen (goals, points, cards)
3. End Match — timer stops, status flips to Completed, final score recorded

Public live view

• Every tournament has a public URL: /tournaments/<id>/public/
• Anyone (not logged in) can watch scores update
• Auto-refreshes every ~5 seconds

Share this URL on social media, WhatsApp groups, club website — parents love following along.

Roles who can score

• Club Admin — any match in own club's tournaments
• Coach — matches where they're assigned as referee/official
• Match official — a specific person you can assign (see Manage tournament matches)

After the match

• Final score locked in
• Individual player stats (goals, cards, minutes) update trainee profiles
• Awards can be added post-match (see Record tournament results)

Multiple matches at once

At venue with parallel courts / fields: - Open Live Scoring on multiple devices, one per match - No conflict — each device scores its own match independently

Akses

Kejohanan → Matches → buka match → Live Scoring.

Interface

Big-button: - Score buttons — +1 - Undo - Goal scorer — pilih pemain - Timer - Cards (kuning/merah) - Sets / periods - Substitutions

Semasa match

1. Start Match — timer mula
2. Rekod event
3. End Match — status jadi Completed

Public view

URL: /tournaments/<id>/public/. Semua orang (tanpa login) boleh tonton. Auto-refresh 5 saat.

Role

Admin, coach yang di-assign, match official.

Selepas match

Skor kunci. Stat pemain update pada profil pelatih. Awards tambah kemudian.

Buka Live Scoring pada peranti berasingan, satu per match.
